Attack on Titan is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The series began serialization in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on September 9, 2009, and has been collected into 12 tankobon volumes as of December 9, 2013. It is set in a world where humanity lives inside cities surrounded by enormous walls due to the Titans, gigantic humanoid creatures who devour humans seemingly without reason.The story centers on Eren Yeager, his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackerman, and their friend Armin Arlert, whose lives are changed forever after the appearance of a Colossus Titan brings about the destruction of their home town and the death of Eren's mother. Vowing revenge and to reclaim the world from the Titans, Eren, Mikasa and Armin enlist in the Military and join the Scout Regiment'an elite group of soldiers who fight Titans outside the walls. Eren Yager is the only son of Grisha and Kalura Yeager, adoptive brother of Mikasa Ackerman, and best friend of Armin Arlert. He hails from the fallen Shiganshina District, a town located to the southern part the outermost Wall, Maria. He is a former member of 104th Trainee Squad and currently serves the Military as a member of the Survey Corps. He holds a personal vendetta against all Titans, and his dream is to purge them from the Earth and explore the world beyond the Walls. He is also a Titan Shifter, and uses his abilities to aid in Humanity's fight against the rule of the Titans. He is known as "The Coordinate" to the titan shifters that infiltrated the walls.Kotobukiya proudly present their Eren Yaeger ARTFXJ statue, based on the wildly popular Attack on Titan.Eren stands 26 cm/10. 3 inches tall in 1/8 scale, complete with georama base.Eren is portrayed leaping forward in mid-attack, his weapons drawn and ready to strike.Kotobukiya crafstmanship is visible in all the fine details from the way his clothing wrinkles and flows all the way down to the details on the base.
